The Healthy Benefits of Distilled Water

People usually do not think what they are drinking is going to have anything to do their diet or losing weight. However, cutting out certain drinks and picking up new drinking habits could be key to losing weight and staying healthy. Soft drinks are the most popular drinks in America. Unfortunately, the popularity is among the children over the adults. Soft drinks are full of caffeine and sugar, which is not something we want the children of our country hyped up on. Many people know that water is the healthiest drink to choose. It is a well known fact that a human can live for weeks without food, but only days without water. Most people drink purified water, which is great! As long as drinking water is clean, it doesn't matter what kind they drink. However, if the goal is to lose weight as well as be healthy, distilled water should be considered.
What is distilled water? Distilled water is water which has been heated to the boiling point so that impurities are separated from the water which itself becomes vapor or steam. The difference between purified water and distilled water is that distilled water has no minerals, unlike purified bottled water. It is well known that our drinking water is filled with impurities and disease from sewage systems. Distilled water does not have this problem. Some people worry that distilled water will rob our bodies of natural minerals. However, this is not true. Distilled water is a good way to clense the body. It removes impurities, and has been known to flush the body of its water weight. Losing the bodies water weight would lead to dramatic weight loss. A large portion of the bodies weight is water weight. This diet is good for fast weight loss, but continuing this diet for a long period of time could be unhealthy.
